We've now been working with Hari Ghotra for over ten years, supporting her in her culinary journey from home cook, to celebrity chef. Her recipes are now enjoyed by thousands across the world.
The Hari name was created with a paintbrush and then digitised.
Hari's spice tin (masala dabba) forms a big part of her identity, and has been the one constant throughout her culinary career.
A succinct set of brand guidelines ensure consistency across all brand application.
This was Hari's third cook book, with recipes to help make Indian food more accessible, with her twist on western classics. Uncle were responsible for the overall design style and all food photography – working in collaboration with the publisher.

Having shot hundreds of dishes for Hari over the years, Uncle were well placed to manage the food photography for her Indian for Everyone cook book. Lets just say, we were well fed!
Mr Ghotra is a unique single malt produced by bringing together the science of aging Whisky and the art of blending Champagne.
Hari's father always wore a turban so it seemed fitting to symbolise this through the identity of Mr Ghotra. We also wanted to take a more modern approach to this whisky brand so it would stand out in a crowded market.
Whisky brands have always drawn on the heritage of the distillery and usually traditional in style. Our approach to Mr Ghotra was to combine the old and the new – drawing on years of whisky making experience, but combined with a new way of thinking.
